A Welsh university is carrying out research into one of the world's most enduring mysteries - the star of Bethlehem.
‘Rarely have I benefited from a partner’s work-related skills. I’ve never managed to nab myself a restaurant critic or a roofer or a travel writer who required a willing girlfriend to accompany him on exotic trips’
Maybe her problem is a lack of 'quid pro quo.'

Dolphins protect lifeguards from great white shark
Incidents such as this have occurred and been recorded throughout history. The ancient Greeks cited many instances of dolphins protecting and helping sailors in the water. I'm not a PETA supporter but I am disgusted by the captivity of dolphins at marine parks. In captivity they rarely live past puberty and require the administration of antidepressants. Dolphins are extremely intelligent and should remain free.

Beyond 'The Da Vinci Code': A New Clue
The new book by author Dan Brown will focus on the Freemasons and the Masonic architecture of Washington DC. (Refresh may need to be hit and free New York Times registration required)
Many of America's Founding Fathers were Freemasons. In fact, the cornerstone of the Capitol Building of the United States was laid with Masonic Honors on September 18, 1793. President George Washington, himself a Freemason, presided over the ceremony.

"There's profit in things that go bump in the night, though for the mayor of the devil-infested French hamlet of Rennes-le-Chateau, it's the dynamite going boom that has him tallying the mysteries evoked in Dan Brown's bestseller 'The Da Vinci Code.' 'They set off explosions at all hours and climb over the cemetery wall to dig up the dead,' says Mayor Jean-Francois L'Huilier, whose mountain village of 112 people atop the Valley of God in southwestern France has become a Mecca for fans of novelist Brown's bestseller."
Rosslyn Chapel - The Chapel's alleged subterranean chamber is rumored to contain any number of historical treasures: the Ark of the Covenant; the embalmed head of Christ; the Holy Grail, the fully armored corpses of 20 medieval Knights Templar; or maybe lost texts revealing the ancient origins of Freemasonry. There's all this, not to mention its connection to The Da Vinci Code.
